Cymric steps up to Group Three level for the Tattersalls Acomb Stakes over seven furlongs at York, UK, on Wednesday, August 19.
The John Gosden-trained juvenile has made two appearances, both over seven furlongs, and ran on well for a head victory after making most of the running in a Sandown Park maiden on July 22.
His debut came in the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 20 when 10th of the 12 runners.
John Gosden commented: "Cymric has done well since his last race.
"Obviously, this is a big step in class, but we are hopeful of a good performance."
James Doyle takes the ride for the first time on the Kitten's Joy colt, who faces nine opponents including Group Two Richmond Stakes fourth Adventurous and Group Three Tyros Stakes third Lieutenant General.
