Devonshire steps up to a mile for the Group Three Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown, Ireland, on Sunday, May 10.
The three-year-old filly, representing Willie McCreery, finished strongly to come home second behind Stormfly at the same course on her seasonal return in the Group Three Leopardstown Irish 1,000 Guineas Trial over seven furlongs on April 12.
She made five appearances as a juvenile and ended a promising campaign with a half-length success in a 23-runner seven-furlong fillies' maiden at the Curragh in October.
James Doyle, who rode Devonshire in the Leopardstown Irish 1,000 Guineas Trial, partners the daughter of Fast Company again.
Willie McCreery said: "I was very pleased with Devonshire on her latest start and she has come on for the race.
"It is more or less the same field that ran against last time, although she has a poor draw on this occasion in stall nine.
"The ground might be a bit too soft - I would like to see her run on good going at some point - but she is in good form at the moment."
Devonshire opposes nine fillies including Stormfly, Group Three third Stellar Glow and Limerick maiden runner-up Kissed By Angels.
