Entertainment bids for a first Pattern win in the Group Three Prix Minerve over an extended mile and a half at Deauville, France, on Sunday, August 16.

The three-year-old filly, trained by John Gosden, made the running before being headed over a furlong from home when fourth in the 12-furlong Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 18. She also finished fourth in a Newbury Listed contest over a mile and a quarter on May 16, but was disqualified after her jockey weighed in light.

Entertainment was second to subsequent Group One winner Diamondsandrubies in another Listed race over just shy of 12 furlongs at Chester on May 6 and gained a short-head success in a mile maiden on Polytrack at Chelmsford City on March 26.

John Gosden said: "The ground could be a little testing for Entertainment but this race is the last opportunity for her to run against her own age group."

The daughter of Halling, ridden by William Buick for the second time, takes on nine other three-year-old fillies including Group Two Prix de Malleret third Yaazy, Prix de Diane seventh Ame Bleue and Investec Oaks eighth Al Naamah.
