Holistic Approach steps up in Killavullan Stakes

Exciting two-year-old Holistic Approach is out to build on an impressive debut when he lines up in the G3 Killavullan Stakes (15.05hrs local time) over seven furlongs at Leopardstown, Ireland, on Sunday, October 23.
The Jim Bolger-trained New Approach colt ran on strongly to beat Ice Canyon by half a length in a Curragh maiden over a furlong shorter on October 9.
Kevin Manning takes the ride again on Holistic Approach, who is drawn in stall seven and lines up against eight other juveniles including debut scorer Territory and Making Light, who scored by eight lengths on his most recent start.
Jimmy Hyland of Godolphin commented: "Holistic Approach is training very well and Jim is expecting a big run. It’s a nice race, the ground should be suitable and he has progressed well since his win at the Curragh."
Elsewhere on Sunday’s card, recent Limerick handicap winner Round Two (Jim Bolger/Kevin Manning), a Teofilo three-year-old colt, steps back up to Listed level for the Trigo Stakes (14.35hrs) over a mile and a quarter.
