Classic-winning filly Pleascach makes her Godolphin debut in the Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes, with Entertainment also taking part in the 12-furlong contest at Royal Ascot, UK, on Thursday, June 18.

Pleascach (Jim Bolger/Kevin Manning) stayed on gamely for a half-length success over Found, with Godolphin's Devonshire back in third, in the Group One Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas over a mile at the Curragh, Ireland, on May 24.

The three-year-old daughter of Teofilo stormed to a facile victory in the 10-furlong Group Three Irish National Stud EBF Blue Wind Stakes at Naas, Ireland, on May 13 and was runner-up over the same distance in a Navan Listed race on April 18.

Entertainment (John Gosden/James Doyle) finished fourth in a Newbury Listed contest over a mile and a quarter on May 16, but was disqualified after her jockey weighed in light.

She was second to subsequent Investec Oaks fourth Diamondsandrubies in another Listed race over just shy of 12 furlongs at Chester on May 6 and gained a short-head success in a mile maiden on Polytrack at Chelmsford City on March 26.

Jim Bolger said: "Pleascach came out of the Irish 1,000 Guineas in good order and is doing very well at the moment."

John Gosden commented: "Entertainment is in good form and will handle the ground, although this race is obviously a classy affair."

Pleascach, drawn one, and Entertainment, emerging from stall eight, line up against eight other three-year-old fillies including Pamona, who has twice finished in front of Entertainment, Irish Group Three winner Curvy and Newmarket maiden scorer Gretchen.

Godolphin has won the Ribblesdale Stakes with Bahr (1998), Fairy Queen (1999), Punctilious (2004), Flying Cloud (2009) and Hibaayeb (2010).
