Poetic Charm goes for further Newmarket success in Sweet Solera

Impressive debut winner Poetic Charm returns to Newmarket’s July Course for the G3 Sweet Solera Stakes over seven furlongs on Saturday, August 12.
The two-year-old Dubawi filly, representing Charlie Appleby, ran on strongly after meeting trouble in running to score by a length in a fillies’ maiden over the same course and distance on July 15.
James Doyle partners the half-sister to Teofilo, who lines up against eight other juvenile fillies headed by G3 runner-up Dance Diva and Newbury debut scorer Mayyasah.
Charlie Appleby reported: “Poetic Charm came out of her debut well and the form of that race looks strong.
“We have a couple of drying days in Newmarket, so I am anticipating that the ground will not be too soft on Saturday.
“I am hopeful that she can take the next step up in grade.”
