Promising Run returns to turf for the G3 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes over an extended mile and a quarter at York, UK, on Wednesday, May 11.

The three-year-old filly, representing Saeed bin Suroor, was second to easy winner Polar River on both her appearances on dirt at Meydan earlier this year, most recently in the Listed UAE 1000 Guineas Sponsored By Friday over a mile on February 11.

She faded to seventh on turf in the G1 Dubai Fillies' Mile at Newmarket, UK, in October and recorded two impressive wins over seven furlongs at the same course, including when scoring decisively in the G2 Shadwell Rockfel Stakes in September.

James Doyle again rides Promising Run, who faces six others including QIPCO 1,000 Guineas fourth Fireglow and the unbeaten So Mi Dar.

Saeed bin Suroor commented: "Promising Run has been in good form since coming back from Dubai and I have been pleased with her work.

"The step up in distance will suit her and I am looking forward to seeing a good run."
