Robillard features among a cosmopolitan field for the G2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes over 11 furlongs on turf at Belmont Park, USA, on Saturday, May 7.

The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained four-year-old is one of only two horses in the field to have raced exclusively in the USA, with European Group winners Sea Calisi, Carla Bianca and Nakuti also lining up alongside Chilean G1 runner-up Guapaza.

Robillard made her debut on dirt but her six subsequent starts have all been on turf, including victories over an extended mile at Keeneland and Belmont Park in April and May year.

She also made all for a comprehensive victory in a mile allowance race at Keeneland in October but failed to get competitive on her latest appearance in the G2 Mrs Revere Stakes over extended mile at Churchill Downs in November.

Kendrick Carmouche takes the ride for the first time on the Distorted Humor filly, who is drawn three of six runners.

Kiaran McLaughlin commented: "This is Robillard's first start in a while but she is doing very well.

"Things didn't go right for her in the Mrs Revere Stakes and she needed some time afterwards.

"It looks like there will be a lack of pace, so we will be on or near the lead as she prefers that style of running.

"She is coming off a lay-off, like a lot of the field, but we think that she will get this trip and hope she might get an uncontested lead."
