Unbeaten four-year-old filly Rosa Imperial steps up to G3 level for the Prix de Ris-Orangis over six furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte, France, on Wednesday, June 28.

The Andre Fabre-trained daughter of Pivotal quickened well from the rear of the field to win readily the five-furlong Listed Prix Hampton at the same course on June 10, and made a winning debut in a Fontainebleau conditions race over furlong further on May 18.

Mickael Barzalona, on board for both victories, takes the ride again on Rosa Imperial, who faces six rivals from stall seven including G3 winners Son Cesio, Attendu and Via Ravenna.

Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Rosa Imperial has taken both her races very well.

“She is stepping up in class again but is showing all the right signs that she can run a good race at this level.”
