Arabian Hope enjoyed a cosy success in the G3 Istanbul Trophy over a mile on turf at Veliefendi, Turkey, on Saturday, September 2.
The talented three-year-old filly, with Gerald Mosse in the saddle for the first time, broke well and raced a close third of the five runners on the inside.
There was no room to switch out and make a challenge for much of the straight as Arabian Hope was hemmed in but the jockey kept cool and found a gap just over a furlong from home
Arabian Hope ran on well to lead and was eased down close home to score easily by a length and a half in 1m 35.40s on ground described as good.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor, celebrating a double after Leshlaa won earlier, said: “It is very good to have two winners tonight.
“Arabian Hope has now won a G3 race and previously finished third in a G1 in England – she is improving all the time.
“We will now find another Group race for her before we give her a break at the end of the season.”
Gerald Mosse reported: “The race was fine. Arabian Hope travelled nice and easy and I took my time.
“My filly was relaxed and really responded when I asked her to go – there was no need to press hard.”
