The two-year-old son of Sea The Stars, trained by Andre Fabre and ridden by Mickael Barzalona, quickened smartly for an easy success under a hands and heels ride in a mile newcomers' race at Deauville on August 22.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: "Cloth Of Stars is a promising prospect who is learning all of the time.
"He won his first start in good style but showed a lot of immaturity that day and we hope that he will be a little more focused on this occasion.
"The most important thing is that he has another nice experience."
Cloth Of Stars tackles three other two-year-old colts - Deauville winner Vedevani, Ascot Listed scorer Sixth Sense and Listed runner-up Marasquin.
French Navy won the Prix des Chenes for Godolphin in 2010.
