Cloth Of Stars finished third after racing keenly in the Group Three Prix de Conde at Chantilly, France, on Monday, October 5.

The two-year-old colt, trained by Andre Fabre and ridden by Mickael Barzalona, refused to settle at the rear of the five runners for the majority of the nine-furlong contest.

He stayed on to take third inside the final furlong but could not trouble Robin Of Navan, who won in 1m 52.14s on good to soft ground, and Millfield, going down by three and a half lengths in total.

Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: "Cloth Of Stars did not settle and it was a slightly disappointing performance.

"He needs to mature a bit mentally - he was much too keen today - and there are no plans at the moment."
