Creative Flair bookended her season with Group-race victories as she bravely made all in the G3 Newmarket Pony Academy Pride Stakes at Newmarket, UK, on Friday, 7 October.

The Dubawi homebred, successful in the G2 Balanchine at the Dubai World Cup Carnival before disappointing in the G1 Diana Stakes out in North America, broke smartly and soon led the 13 runners down the centre of the course.

William Buick kicked for home approaching the final quarter-mile and Creative Flair found more in front, seeing off the late challenges of Ville de Grace and Via Sistina for a neck success in the 10-furlong race.

Trainer Charlie Appleby said: “We are delighted with Creative Flair, who has been a very game filly throughout her career. We will have a chat with the rest of the team, but the likelihood is that could be her final start. She has been a credit to everyone with what she has achieved and we are thrilled that she can go out on a high.”
