Creative Story continues winning narrative at Meydan

Improving four-year-old Creative Story maintained his perfect start to 2025 at Meydan as he completed back-to-back turf handicap wins on Friday, 14 February.
Successful over the same seven-furlong trip in January, the son of Too Darn Hot soon grabbed the inside rail and disputed fourth alongside Native Approach and Embesto.
William Buick had to briefly wait for a gap entering the final quarter-mile but Creative Story responded well after finding space, reeling in long-time leader Saleymm half a furlong out before going away to score by a length.
William Buick said: “Creative Story is a lovely horse. He came here winless this winter, having been tried in some nice maidens at home.
“I love the way he does it. He is very straightforward. He does everything you need him to do – he relaxes and picks up well. I am not sure what his next target will be, but he has stepped up again and I felt he had plenty left.
“I see no reason why he would not be even more comfortable over a mile.”
