Endless Time registered a third straight victory with a brave display on her seasonal return in the G2 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock Park, UK, on Saturday, July 2.

The Charlie Appleby-trained four-year-old, a Listed winner at Naas on her previous start in October, broke well and raced in third of the six runners throughout the first mile of the 12-furlong contest.

She was briefly relegated to fourth by Nightflower inside the straight but stayed on gamely after being switched out by James Doyle approaching the final quarter-mile.

Endless Time took up the running half a furlong from home and battled well to prevail by a half a length over Furia Cruzada in 2m 40.21s on ground described as soft, heavy in places.

Charlie Appleby commented: "Endless Time's weight was bang on today - she weighed the same as when she won well at Naas last year.

"I have trained her for a late Summer and Autumn campaign. She loves juice in the ground and the more rain they were getting at Haydock, the happier I was feeling.

"We are working back from the G1 Fillies and Mares race on Champions Day (Ascot, October 15, G1, 1m 4f). It may be a bit bold, but we hoped to win today and then go for the Darley Yorkshire Oaks (York, August 18, G1, 1m 4f)."
