Frosted makes his first start since the Belmont Stakes in the US$600,000 Grade Two Jim Dandy Stakes over nine furlongs at Saratoga, USA, on Saturday, August.
The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained colt ran a superb race to come home second in the 12-furlong Grade One at Belmont Park on June 6, going down by five and a half lengths to American Pharoah, who became the first US Triple Crown winner since 1978.
Frosted also finished behind American Pharoah when staying on strongly to take fourth in the Grade One Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands over a mile and a quarter at Churchill Downs on May 2.
The son of Tapit cruised to a two-length success in the nine-furlong Twinspires.com Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct on April 4 and started his three-year-old campaign with two Grade Two appearances over an extended mile at Gulfstream Park, including a second in the Lambholm South Holy Bull Stakes in January.
Joel Rosario, who partnered Frosted in the Belmont Stakes, Kentucky Derby and Wood Memorial Stakes, takes the ride again.
Kiaran McLaughlin commented: "Frosted has been training great and I like our post position of stall seven.
"You worry a little bit about a lack of pace in the race but I don't think that Frosted has to be so far back. In a small field, we could lay in third but closer to the lead.
"We made a lot of changes in the Wood Memorial and since then he has had two great runs in the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Park. We want to keep him happy, healthy and sound.
"It's a serious race with a nice purse and will be a good preparation for the Travers Stakes (Grade One, 10f, August 29)."
Frosted faces a maximum of six rivals including last season's Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Texas Red and Belmont Stakes fifth Frammento. Upstart, who beat Frosted in the Holy Bull Stakes, and Grade One winner Competitive Edge are also entered in the Jim Dandy Stakes but are set to run in the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park on August 2.
Alpha won the 2012 renewal of the Jim Dandy Stakes for Godolphin.
