Cloth Of Stars is out to build on a winning seasonal return as he steps back up in class for the G2 Prix Greffulhe over a mile and a quarter at Saint-Cloud, France, on Sunday, May 8.
The Andre Fabre-trained three-year-old colt was eased near the line when comfortably beating Viserano by a length and a quarter in the G3 Prix La Force over the same course and distance on April 3.
He also made his final juvenile appearance last season over 10 furlongs at Saint-Cloud, taking a clear second behind Robin Of Navan in the G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud in November, and was third to the same horse in the nine-furlong G3 Prix de Conde at Chantilly the previous month.
Cloth Of Stars scored on his first two starts, comfortably winning both a mile maiden at Deauville in August and the G3 Prix Des Chenes over the same distance at Longchamp in September.
Mickael Barzalona again partners the Sea The Stars colt, who takes on four rivals headed by old rival Robin Of Navan plus course and distance Listed winner Apilobar.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: "Cloth Of Stars has come on from his run in the Prix La Force and we expect him to run well.
"It will be difficult to turn the form around with Robin Of Navan but Cloth Of Stars has a run under his belt already this year, which should give him a little bit of an advantage.
"Whether it will be enough to reverse the form is another question."
