Alpen Rose gained a breakthrough G3 victory with a comfortable success in the Grosser Preis der Landeshauptstadt Dresden over seven furlongs at Dresden, Germany, on Saturday, 25 September.
The Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly had already filled the runner-up spot in Group races on both her previous trips to the country this season, including when going down by two and a half lengths in the G2 Badener Meile in May.
Alpen Rose disputed the early pace with Dibujaba before being send on into a narrow advantage by Julien Guillochon. She increased her lead in the straight, staying on well to win by a length and a half.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin said: “We are delighted to get a G3 win with Alpen Rose, who has been knocking on the door. This looked to be a race within her capabilities and she has duly delivered.”
