Broadsiding enhanced his Champion Two-Year-Old claims in Australia on Saturday as he powered home to win the G2 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Eagle Farm.
The Too Darn Hot colt was completing a hat-trick after taking the Listed Fernhill Mile and G1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick, and he now looks set to return to G1 company for the JJ Atkins Stakes later this month. Victory in that race would make Broadsiding a leading contender for championship honours at the end of the season.
Ottoman Fleet enjoyed a second Graded victory in the United States on Saturday with a comfortable success in the G3 Arlington Stakes at Churchill Downs, earning the five-year-old a tilt at the G2 Wise Dan Stakes back at the same course at the end of June.
Progressive four-year-old Highland Falls captured the G3 Blame Stakes on the same card. The contest is a recognised prep race for the Stephen Foster Stakes, although First Mission looks to be Godolphin’s leading contender for the G1.

While there will be no Godolphin contender in the Belmont Stakes itself, the royal blue silks will be out in force, kicking off with Siskany looking to defend his G2 Belmont Gold Cup title on Thursday.
