Cualificar continues to progress with G3 Prix La Force victory

Cualificar maintained his improving profile and emerged as a Prix du Jockey Club contender with an admirable success in the G3 Prix La Force at Longchamp, France, on Sunday, 6 April.

A Saint-Cloud maiden winner in March, the Andre Fabre-trained colt broke on terms in the nine-furlong contest and soon settled in fourth behind Dreamliner, New Ground and Waka Waka.

Cualificar took third from Waka Waka entering the final quarter-mile and responded well for Alexis Pouchin to take up the running over half a furlong from home.

Azimpour laid down a late challenge, with Cualificar finding more in the closing strides to hold on comfortably by a neck.
