Easier task awaits Rock’n Swing in G3 Prix de Psyche

Rock’n Swing drops down in class for the G3 Prix de Psyche over a mile and a quarter at Deauville, France, on Sunday, 28 July.

The Andre Fabre-trained filly has been pitched into Classic company on her two latest starts, finishing a close seventh in the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches before an unlucky-in-running 11th in the G1 Prix de Diane.

An easy debut winner at Saint-Cloud in October, Rock’n Swing made an impressive start to her season when scoring at Longchamp in April – a conditions race in which Poule d’Essai des Pouliches scorer Rouhiya was third.

Guet Apens, who is also trained by Andre Fabre, bids to continue a winning start to his season in the Listed Prix du Carrousel on the same card. The son of Dubawi rallied well for a neck success on his four-year-old return in a Chantilly conditions race in May.
