Fractional steps back up in distance for the Group Three Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club over a mile and a quarter at Deauville, France, on Saturday, August 15.
The Andre Fabre-trained six-year-old ran on well for a length victory in the mile Group Three Prix Messidor at Maisons-Laffitte on July 5.
He finished down the field in both the Group One Prix Ganay over an extended 10 furlongs at Longchamp on May 3 and the Group Two Prix d'Harcourt over half a furlong shorter at the same venue on April 6.
The son of Manduro won on his final four starts of 2014, culminating with victory in the Group Two QNB Prix Dollar over 10 furlongs at Longchamp in October, when he was awarded the race after going down by a head to Cirrus Des Aigles.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: "Fractional returned to the form that he showed last year when winning the Prix Messidor and we hope that he will be competitive again.
"The soft ground won't be too much of a worry and he has won over this trip in the past. If he runs another good race, then he should finish in the frame."
Mickael Barzalona again rides Fractional, who faces seven others including Group Three winners Elliptique and Bello Matteo plus Singapore Airlines International Cup fifth Free Port Lux.
Echo Of Light won the 2007 renewal of the Prix Gontaut-Biron for Godolphin.
