Inns Of Court after more G3 glory at Deauville

Inns Of Court goes for a second consecutive G3 victory over seven furlongs in the Prix de la Porte Maillot at Deauville, France, on Saturday, July 1.
The three-year-old colt, trained by Andre Fabre and ridden by Mickael Barzalona, ran on strongly from the rear for a decisive success when taking on older horses for the first time in the Prix du Palais-Royal at Maisons-Laffitte on June 3.
Inns Of Court’s only defeat came in the mile Classic, the G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains, at Deauville on May 14, when he faded to sixth after the saddle slipped.
The son of Invincible Spirit started out with two victories at seven furlongs at Saint-Cloud in April and Chantilly in November.
He takes on four rivals in the Prix de la Porte Maillot – G3 winners Johnny Barnes, Princess Asta and Aladdine, plus Poule d'Essai des Poulains seventh African Ride.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Inns Of Court has to carry a penalty for his win at Maisons-Laffitte but he is a horse on the upgrade and this distance suits him well.
“He is in very good form and hopefully he can run another good race. This will hopefully tell us where his programme lies for the rest of the year.”
