Rouleau, trained by Charlie Appleby, lines up in the six-furlong Group Three toteexacta Sirenia Stakes at Kempton Park on Saturday, September 5, when racing on Polytrack for the first time.

The two-year-old kept on well to finish the neck runner-up in a Listed contest over five furlongs at York on August 22.

He was third in the Group Three Fairmont Molecomb Stakes, also at five furlongs, at Glorious Goodwood after trying to make all on July 29 and recorded two victories over six furlongs, taking a maiden on Tapeta at Wolverhampton on June 22 and a nursery at Ascot on July 10.

Charlie Appleby said: "Rouleau has come out of his run at York well.

"That was another pleasing effort over five furlongs and he is going to appreciate going back over six furlongs, which he hasn't run over since he won the nursery at Ascot.

"He will be racing on a synthetic surface, which I think he will be suited by. It is all positive and I am looking forward to Saturday."

Rouleau is the mount of regular rider William Buick and exits from stall three.

The seven other starters include the Listed scorer and Group Two-placed performer King Of Rooks plus Group Two Richmond Stakes fourth Adventurous.
