Saint-Cloud G2 test for Strathspey

Three-year-old filly Strathspey steps up significantly in class for the 12-furlong G2 Prix de Malleret at Saint-Cloud, France, on Sunday, July 2.
The daughter of New Approach, trained by Andre Fabre, has made two appearances.
She followed up a third in a 10-furlong Maisons-Laffitte newcomers’ race on May 6 with a neck success in a maiden over a furlong further at Lyon Parilly on May 25.
Mickael Barzalona takes the ride again on Strathspey, who faces 10 other three-year-old fillies including G1 Epsom Oaks fourth Horseplay and Newbury Listed winner Elas Ruby.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Strathspey has come on a lot for her win at Lyon but this is still a big step up in class.
“We are hopeful that she can run a good race and we will probably find out her level going forward into the rest of the season.”
